The best game tracker apps for iPhone in 2026

These are the main apps people use to track their backlog, wishlist and finished games on iPhone and iPad, and what each is best at. We make Gamepage, so it's listed first; the facts about the other apps come from their own App Store listings and sites (sources below).

Gamepage on iPhone: What to Play Next picks Disco Elysium from the backlog, about 33 hours, with Start Playing, Shuffle and Not Now
Gamepage on iPhone: the Library with Studios, Stats, Playthroughs, What to Play Next, Lists, Quick Add and Year in Review, then the games you're playing, Elden Ring and Hades II

The apps, one by one

Gamepage

Statuses and pins, times to beat on every game page (IGDB community times), every playthrough with its own rating out of 10 in half steps, play time, What to Play Next, clean search, lists and S–D tier lists, with no account, ads or tracking. Import another tracker's export, a CSV file or a pasted list free, and export to CSV or JSON any time. Pro adds more lists, widgets, release alerts and Year in Review. Not on Android, no account linking and no social features, and no sync between devices in this version.

GameTrack

A long-running tracker for Apple devices that links your PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, Nintendo and other accounts to fill your library and detect play sessions, with iCloud sync, friends and group challenges, deals and an Apple Watch app. GameTrack+ unlocks unlimited lists and more. Version 7 needs iOS 26 or later. See Gamepage vs GameTrack for a side-by-side look.

Backloggd

A social game-logging website with reviews, lists, diaries and friends. Its game data comes from IGDB, like Gamepage's. Backloggd's FAQ says there's no mobile app at this time; the website works on phone screens. It's free, with an optional Backer tier on Patreon. More: Is there a Backloggd app for iPhone?

Sequel

A polished all-in-one tracker for TV, movies, books and games, with iCloud sync, widgets and up to 5 collections free. Seeing how long games take to finish is part of Sequel+. It needs iOS 18.5 or later.

IGN Playlist

IGN's free backlog app: wishlist, backlog, playing, paused, beat and quit statuses, playlists you can share, a weekly Discover page and community ratings. It shows how long games take to beat, and it needs iOS 15.1 or later.

Game tracker apps: common questions

What is the best game backlog tracker for iPhone?

It depends on what you want. If you want your console and PC accounts linked automatically, GameTrack does that. If you want a social profile with reviews, Backloggd's website is built for it. If you want a private tracker with no account, free IGDB times to beat and every playthrough logged, that's what Gamepage is for.

Which game tracker shows how long a game takes to beat?

Gamepage shows Story, Story + Extras and 100% times on every game page for free, using IGDB community times. GameTrack and IGN Playlist show times too, and Sequel includes them in Sequel+.

Can I move my games between these apps?

Gamepage imports another tracker's export, a CSV file or a pasted list, one game per line. GameTrack can export a CSV file. See Import.
