Gamepage FAQ

What people ask about Gamepage before they install it. Tap a question to open it.

Tracking

What is Gamepage?

Gamepage is a video game tracker for iPhone and iPad. Look up any game (who made it, release dates, platforms, IGDB scores, screenshots, how long it takes to beat) and keep your own library: pins and statuses, custom lists and S–D tier lists, play time and what to play next. No account. No ads.

Do I need an account?

No. Gamepage has no account and no sign-in. Your library stays on your device.

What can I track?

Pin the games you care about and mark each one Playing, Paused, Wishlist, Backlog, Finished or Dropped. Log play time and playthroughs with ratings and notes, follow studios, and make custom lists and S–D tier lists (up to 3 free; more with Pro). What to Play Next picks a game from your backlog.

Can I log a replay or a second playthrough?

Yes. Each playthrough is logged on its own, replays included, with its own rating out of 10 in half steps and notes. Free.

Why can't I find a game?

Gamepage leaves out fan projects, mods, ROM hacks and duplicate editions so the real game shows up first. If an official game is missing from search, email support@gamepageapp.com with its name.

Imports and export

Can I bring my games from another app or a spreadsheet?

Yes. In Gamepage, open Settings ▸ Import ▸ CSV or Pasted List (or the "Bring Your Games" step the first time you open the app). Use another tracker's export, a CSV file or a pasted list: paste your game titles, one per line, or pick a CSV file and choose which column is the title. You see every match before anything is added. Step by step: Bring your games to Gamepage.

Does importing change games already in my library?

No. Games already in your library are left as they were, so importing the same list again adds nothing twice.

Is importing free?

Yes. Importing is free: no Pro needed and no import limit. One list or file holds up to 2,000 games; import a longer list in parts.

Can I export my library?

Yes, any time and free. Settings ▸ Export ▸ Export Library makes a JSON file with everything (statuses, play time, playthroughs, lists) and a CSV file for Numbers, Excel or Sheets. The files are made on your device; share them or put them in Files. Restore from Gamepage Export… reads the JSON back.

Sync and devices

Is Gamepage on the App Store?

Not yet. Gamepage is in beta on Apple's TestFlight and is coming to the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Anyone can join the beta at testflight.apple.com/join/CA6zWrGJ.

Which devices does Gamepage work on?

iPhone with iOS 17 or later and iPad with iPadOS 17 or later. The iPad app has its own sidebar layout, and one purchase covers iPhone and iPad.

Does Gamepage sync my library with iCloud?

No. Gamepage 1.0 has no iCloud sync: your library stays on the device you use. To move it, use Export Library and Restore from Gamepage Export (next question).

How do I move my library to a new iPhone or iPad?

On the old device, open Settings ▸ Export ▸ Export Library and keep the JSON file (share it or put it in Files). On the new device, choose Settings ▸ Export ▸ Restore from Gamepage Export… and pick that file. Restore adds what's missing and never removes anything.

Pro and pricing

What's free and what's Pro?

Free, with no time limit: unlimited game pages and tracking, IGDB times to beat, play time, What to Play Next, imports, CSV and JSON export, following studios, playthrough ratings and notes, and up to 3 custom lists or tier lists. No ads. Pro adds more than 3 custom lists, widgets (Home Screen and Lock Screen), release alerts (release day, date changes and studios you follow), Year in Review (a yearly recap you can share).

How much is Gamepage Pro?

Gamepage is free when it launches. Try Pro free for a week. Pro costs $3.49 a month or $24.99 a year, each with a one-week free trial, or Lifetime $59.99 once ($49.99 launch price). Family Sharing applies to monthly, yearly and Lifetime. If Pro ends, nothing you made is lost or locked.

How do I cancel, restore Pro or get a refund?

Restore: Settings ▸ Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account. Cancel: in the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Gamepage, at least 24 hours before the period (or the free trial) ends. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Details on the Support page.

Privacy

Is my data private?

Yes. No account. No ads. No tracking, and your library, pins and recent searches stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy.

Does Gamepage ask for my password on other sites?

Never. Gamepage never asks for your password on another site, and you never type one into Gamepage.

Data and credits

Where do game details and times to beat come from?

From IGDB.com, a community-built game database run by Twitch: game details, scores, release dates, pictures and time-to-beat estimates. Times to beat are IGDB community times: Story (to the credits), Story + Extras (with side content) and 100% (everything). When IGDB doesn't have enough reports, the game page says "No time-to-beat reports on IGDB yet" instead of a guess. Cover art and screenshots belong to their publishers.
